EA Day

bexly-inside-2

Danson Park www.bexley.gov.uk/service/parks/danson.html played host to an EA funded coaching day for the children and adults of area, Danson park has a superb fishery which has been restocked by the EA to provide constant catching of fish from the 65 children who attended the BDAA coaching event.

In addition to the facilities at Danson Park it also has 7 wheelchair accessible platforms on the lake which provide a perfect safe have n for any disabled angler, permission is available from the local council to fish the lake, but more than worth a try.

The 8 BDAA coaches travelled from all over the country to form the team at Danson park to ensure that the event was a flying success with residents begging for more on the subject of angling, girls were some of the major surprises as parents looked on as BDAA coaches demonstrated the technique of hooking maggots, by surprise the boys on average declined the offer to learn with girls proving that they were undoubtedly very interested in angling and were to be encouraged at all times to take up the activity.
