With advice and guidance from the BDAA access team the Environment Agency led by Andy Eaves Warrington produced a specially designed coaching platform accessible by all users, built by the fishery owners this feature now can hold a small group of disabled or children, family groups in a contained safe area. The EA requested that BDAA provided coaches for a group of disabled people from the area to enable them to have one on one instruction from disabled level 2 coaches.
The groups readily caught fish and were presented medals and certificates showing that they had attended and caught fish with the aid of the BDAA coaches onsite.
Part of the Warrington Disability Day the groups regularly return to Meadow View near Lym Cheshire for further days on this new and very accessible structure, if you wish to book or visit Meadow View call 01244 300236.
