The Boma is an exciting new bit of kit, designed specifically to give the experience of the independence associated with a mountain bike or quad bike for those for whom this would otherwise be impossible.

The Boma was designed by Chris Swift, who is himself tetraplegic. Clearly for a comfortable access to angling venues, the Boma is ideal. A small trailer, can also be purchased with the Boma, which is perfect for carrying tackle, lunch, etc. Comfort is achieved using independent rear suspension with air sprung units which are easily adjusted to the weight of each rider, to give a smooth ride over the roughest terrain.   The Boma can either be transported, as Chris does, in the back of a people carrier, or it can be easily broken down into 6 manageable sections to fit in the boot of most family cars.

The Boma has the added advantage of being fun to use, and also of not having the appearance of a wheelchair. Clients  use their Bomas for hiking over the moors, as well as to go fishing, or to go with the family on bicycle rides and much more.   The quality of life of the rider is immediately enhanced with a Boma.
