Seasonal Gift
A £10,000 will trust donation received in the build up to Christmas has been welcomed by BDAA trustees, the donation was in recognition of the work & support BDAA has been offering to disabled people of all ages throughout the UK.
Grateful thanks expressed by the BDAA trustees to the estate, included details of the projects that were very successful during 2007 and which will continue into 2008, special education schools projects, coaching disabled people, Access improvement courses, Empowering disabled people & the launch of the new "Access Guidelines for Fisheries" book were all included in the thank you letter sent to the family and trustees representing the deceased .
It is always sad when we receive a donation of this kind where our trustees are not able to say thank you personally, BDAA survive on such generous contributions to the charity and are extremely grateful for the recognition of their continued work in the disability sector of angling.
Terry Moseley president BDAA; commented "This is far the largest donation or legacy we have ever received, a very moving & kind gesture, at a time when family & friends must be struggling to cope with their loss. BDAA will ensure that the money will be used to offer new opportunities to disabled people across the UK".
Many thanks
