My Tope Fishing Trip

I thought you would like to see my pictures of the tope i caught  whilst fishing on the boat "Merlin" out of Rhyl in north wales.I fished a whole mackerel using 18ld bs line on an abu ambassedeur 7500c3 reel and a northwestern uptide rod. The fish took 10 minutes to land and weighed in at a hefty 40lds, by far the heaviest fish i have ever caught.

I suffer from Macular degeneration and am registered as a blind person, but i have been sea angling for 20yrs and the onset of my condition was never going to stop me enjoying my favourite past time and with the help of my friends and the very good skippers i fish with i still fish as often as i can.
