Heywood Park

The BDAA coaching team which included graduates of the Dreamstore Academy www.dreamstore.org/academy/ attended a fishing introduction run by Lorraine Kershaw and Rochdale Council.

BDAA provided a number of coaches to ensure that this area could see first hand what the park had to offer, in the hope that funding was made available to develop the park lake as a training area for disabled and non disabled people, children from miles attended the event despite the changeable weather showing that fishing is still as popular as ever to all ages as long as events are professional run and support of qualified coaches are in attendance.

RBDSLF
The RBDSLF is a voluntary group supporting access for people with disabilities into Sports and Leisure.
